As an ISO 14001:2004 (environmental) Registered Company, KnightFM is committed to helping its customers exceed their goals for environmental compliance and stewardship through continual research of the latest technologies and applications to determine areas of improvement regarding all environmental-related waste streams. These key areas of focus include, but are not limited to, reducing waste (hazardous and nonhazardous), increasing recycling and scrap credits, and continuous evaluations of optimal landfill/disposal methodologies.

The “green” programs offered by KnightFM can be used toward eventual LEED certification. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Existing Buildings establishes a framework that maximizes operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts of buildings.
